Are Your Experiencing Effortless Sales In Your Business
There was a time when I avoided jobs in my corporate life that were in sales. I didn’t mind doing the back office work assisting the sales team, but I had no interest in it and looking back I was probably afraid of doing sales.
When I became an entrepreneur and started my first business, I was terrified. I realized that I had to do sales to pay my bills.
And, if I failed at getting clients I would consider myself a failure and I’d have to get a job which meant losing all the freedom that being an entrepreneur gave me (freedom is a high value for me).
After experiencing a taste of the freedom being an entrepreneur brings, I could not stand the thought of going back into a 9-5 job.
So I hustled. I forced myself out of my comfort zone and went out and got clients. Anyone that would buy my service became my client.
In the last 14 years since I started that first business I’ve learned so much and in order to stay successful I’ve had to do a lot of personal growth.
I’m going to share with you a few things I’ve learned about sales and what I now share with my clients.
What you believe about money, sales and business will impact your success more than the actions you take. If you don’t have a belief system and a subconscious identity that supports your success, you’ll struggle, have major setbacks, work way harder than you have to and when you don’t have the success you want, you’ll feel agitated, frustrated, and wonder why what you’re doing isn’t working. Not to mention feeling tired, burned out and stressed.
It takes as much effort to sell a low price item as it does to sell a high ticket item, I’m mostly talking about services here (but this does apply to some products). However, the client who buys the low ticket item usually is higher maintenance and requires more of your time and energy. Also, you have to sell way more low priced items to create the income you want. This means more sales conversations, more marketing, more clients to take care of and having to spend more time doing more of everything. Whereas, a high ticket, premium service will generate more income with less effort and in less time. And, generally high ticket premium clients are easier to work with.
The more confidence you have in yourself and the results your product gives your clients, the easier it is to sell.
My clients get so excited when they discover how fun and easy sales can be.
We work together to identify limiting beliefs that are sabotaging and repelling sales and imprint new beliefs that are aligned with allowing sales to be easy. They also learn how to package their products in a way that attracts premium clients who are happy to pay higher prices for the value they receive.
